Ayo Maff Makes Impressive Acting Debut in Nigerian Film

Lagos – Nigerian musician Ayo Mafoluku, professionally known as Ayo Maff, has made his acting debut in the Nigerian movie industry, revealing that his experience shooting music videos inspired him to explore a new creative avenue.

Speaking at the NECLive 2025 panel, Maff said film has long been a secondary passion alongside his music career. “I wanted to see myself in a movie. I was happy to take this role and embrace the opportunity,” he explained while discussing his involvement in filmmaker Chris Ihedero’s upcoming project.

Chris Ihedero commended Maff for his professionalism and creativity on set, describing the experience of working with the young artist as “amazing.”
