BBNaija 11 housemate Barry says Neche told him he was not her type as he opens up about his feelings for Goddessa

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Barry has revealed that fellow housemate Neche rejected his romantic interest after telling him he was not her type.

Barry made the revelation during a conversation with his new love interest, Goddessa, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, as he tried to convince her that his feelings for her were genuine.

Goddessa had questioned Barry’s intentions, suggesting that his attraction to her appeared to be driven more by sexual chemistry than genuine affection.

“I feel like your feelings for me is more of a sexual attraction,” Goddessa told him.

Barry disagreed, arguing that his behaviour around her went beyond physical attraction.

“You think I would spend my day staring at you if it was just that?” he asked.

The conversation then turned to Neche, whom Barry acknowledged as another person he had previously developed a crush on.

Goddessa suggested that Barry could pursue Neche instead, but he explained that he had chosen not to do so.

“I have a crush on Neche,” Barry admitted.

When Goddessa told him he could pursue that crush, Barry responded: “But I am not pursuing the crush. She has a man outside and I am not her type of man.”

The revelation came as he attempted to explain why his attention had shifted towards Goddessa.

Despite his explanation, Goddessa remained unconvinced about Barry’s intentions and maintained that the atmosphere between them suggested strong physical attraction.

“You like two people,” Goddessa told him, while questioning whether his feelings for her were as serious as he claimed.

Barry continued to insist that his interest was genuine, but Goddessa said his interactions with her still carried what she described as “sexual tension”.
