Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has emerged victorious in a prolonged copyright dispute involving her film, Where Love Lives.

The actress shared her gratitude on Instagram, thanking her family, team, and fans for their support throughout the case.

“God don’t play about me, that’s how I know he’s real. I want to say a very big thank you to my mother @uduakisong1 for not resting till the issue was resolved,” Bimbo wrote.

She also acknowledged her team, including @ugoccie and @sir.fela, and her “amazing cyber family” who reported the infringing content online until it was removed from all platforms.

The copyright dispute began when an individual using a false identity claimed ownership of a song featured in Where Love Lives.

Bimbo explained she had full rights to use the song and had obtained approval from the artist. The claim briefly disrupted the release of her film.

The matter has now been officially resolved in her favour, allowing Where Love Lives to continue its run without legal obstacles.

The actress described the victory as a personal and professional triumph, highlighting the role of her supporters in protecting her creative work.
