Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni lawsuit continues as Lively’s private deposition is set for July 31, amid sexual harassment claims and legal countersuits

Blake Lively Justin Baldoni lawsuit developments continue to unfold as the actress is now scheduled to give a private deposition on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in her legal battle against her It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni.

Lively has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation, allegations which he has firmly denied.

Her deposition will be held behind closed doors, attended only by legal teams, a court reporter, and a videographer. It may also be sealed under a protective order.

This comes after a federal judge dismissed Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their PR team, calling it “frivolous.”

While Baldoni’s legal team vowed to pursue other legal avenues, Lively’s side celebrated what they described as a “total victory.”

Earlier, the deposition was postponed due to the dismissal of Jed Wallace from the case for jurisdictional reasons.

Wallace, who was employed by Baldoni through his crisis firm, Street Relations LLC, was accused by Lively of spreading damaging content about her online.

He has denied those allegations and filed a defamation lawsuit against Lively.
