Brymo made the remarks during a recent interview on Yanga FM Lagos, where he also urged Nigerians to move past historical grievances and embrace national reconciliation.

The singer said the country must begin to seriously consider an Igbo presidency as part of efforts to promote unity and balance in national leadership.

He, however, warned that ongoing insecurity in parts of the South-East could complicate the political direction of the country, arguing that insecurity has often been used as leverage in political negotiations.

Brymo also claimed that various groups across Nigeria have historically used unrest as a political tool, a statement that has sparked further public debate.

In the interview, he praised President Bola Tinubu for his handling of regional security initiatives, particularly referencing the Amotekun security outfit in the South-West.

He argued that unchecked regional security structures could deepen fragmentation if not properly managed within a national framework.

Brymo insisted that Nigeria must prioritise unity, warning that rising insecurity across regions could threaten national cohesion if left unaddressed.
