Nollywood actress Damilola Adegbite has called for more conversations around healthy relationships and marriages, encouraging people to share stories that highlight love, growth and mutual support.

The actress shared her thoughts in a video posted on her Instagram page, where she said she still believes lasting relationships exist despite the many negative stories often associated with modern relationships.

“Let’s normalise sharing stories of relationships and marriages that bring peace, growth, and purpose too,” she said.

She questioned whether she was alone in believing that genuine love and long-term commitment are still possible, while encouraging others to recognise the value of supportive partnerships.

“Does anyone have a partner who has been a genuine blessing? I’m not talking about being in front of the camera; in private, you are something else. I am talking about behind the scenes; your partner has made you a much better version of yourself,” Adegbite said.
