Nigerian singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, on Wednesday sparked widespread online reactions after posting a series of cryptic messages on social media that appeared to reference disc jockey DJ Tunez amid growing speculation of tension between both entertainers.

Tension between Davido and DJ Tunez narrative began when the award-winning artiste posted a string of short but pointed statements, including “LEAVE ME ALONE,” “STEEZE GONE FOREVER,” and “Until u collect again,” on his verified X account.

He followed up with more direct remarks, writing, “Ur just a disgusting nasty fellow… DEM USE BOOT CARRY UR STEEZE FOREVER.. idiot,” before adding another post that read, “E wa woo! look he’s on the floor 😭🥾.”

The posts quickly gained traction, with fans linking the comments to DJ Tunez due to ongoing online discussions and viral clips involving the disc jockey in recent days.

Adding further fuel to speculation, Davido reshared a video of Afrobeats star Burna Boy dancing to DJ Tunez’s track “Ogbafia dey for ground,” a move many interpreted as a subtle continuation of the online exchange.

The timing and tone of the posts have intensified conversation across social media platforms, with users divided over whether the messages were direct attacks or general expressions of frustration.
