Afrobeats star Davido has reportedly unfollowed media personality Dele Momodu on Instagram.

The development comes hours after Momodu spoke publicly about efforts to resolve the ongoing dispute between the singer and his niece, Sophia Momodu.

A check of Davido’s verified Instagram account on Wednesday indicated that Momodu was no longer among the accounts he follows.

The move has since triggered reactions online, particularly as it follows Momodu’s recent remarks concerning the disagreement between Davido and Sophia over their daughter, Imade Adeleke.

Momodu had disclosed that while visiting Liberia, he received appeals from fans urging him to intervene and help reconcile the former partners.

He stated that private steps were being taken to achieve a peaceful resolution and asked well-wishers to keep the family in their prayers.

Davido and Sophia have been involved in a long-standing dispute regarding the custody and upbringing of Imade. The matter previously proceeded to court before the singer later withdrew the case.

In a separate development, Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has responded to critics over comments concerning the collapsed marriage between Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill.
