Dre made the appeal on Instagram on Monday, October 26, 2026, asking the person who took the device to return it in exchange for money.

He did not disclose the amount he was willing to pay.

“If na u carry my phone for Zlatan wedding, abeg return am, I go give you money please,” he wrote in Pidgin English.

The aide also expressed frustration over what he suggested was a recurring problem at social gatherings, alleging that phones could be taken from tables while attendants cleared used plates.

“From now on, if I go any party or dey any party and any stupid waitress tell me say are you done eating so I can pack your plate, na swear I go swear for you cause na pattern. Wey una dey use pack phone for table be that now,” he added.

Dre’s post did not provide evidence identifying who took the phone, and his comments about waitresses reflected his personal allegation rather than an established account of what happened.

The incident reportedly occurred during the wedding celebrations of Zlatan, whose real name is Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai.

The couple’s traditional wedding attracted several celebrities and well-wishers.

Davido was among the guests and reportedly led the groomsmen at the event.

Zlatan had also shared wedding photographs on his official Instagram page ahead of the ceremony, accompanying the post with the words, “IT’s TIME TO MARRY”.

Dre’s appeal has drawn attention to the practical challenge of keeping personal belongings safe at crowded parties, where phones and other valuables may be left unattended on tables.

For now, there has been no publicly confirmed update on whether the phone has been returned or whether anyone has been identified in connection with its disappearance.
