The popular Nollywood actor made the emotional plea in a video shared on Instagram by his colleague and Talk to B show host, Biola Bayo on Tuesday evening.
In the video, Don Richard revealed he has been battling a serious case of kidney disease.
His voice breaking with emotion, he described the toll the illness has taken on his life and family.
“When my wife was told about my health, she started crying. I told her, ‘another man is a lucky man.’ I begged her to take good care of my children — our twins.”
Don Richard has been down with a kidney for a while.
He continued, revealing the painful sacrifices made to fund his treatment:
“Immediately she left the hospital, she went to dispose of our house and car for my treatment. I have nothing left anymore.”
Biola Bayo, sharing his account details, added:
“Don Richard has been down with a kidney for a while.”
Now, with no property or savings left, Don Richard is depending on public goodwill to continue his fight for survival.
