The actress made the statement at the premiere of The Return Of Omotara Johnson, where she was asked how she manages periods of financial difficulty and what the concept of being broke means to her.

Responding to the interviewer’s question, “What does being broke mean to you?” Badmus said, “I do not even know the meaning of being broke.”

During the same conversation, Eniola Badmus does not know being broke as she explained that true wealth extends beyond having money and includes comfort, fulfilment and the ability to support others.
