She criticised Christians—particularly those in ministry—who pursue romantic relationships with non-believers, stating that such decisions often lead to deep misery.
“How can you, as a woman or a man of God, a believer, operating a ministry, consider marrying an unbeliever?” she asked. “Someone is spiritually impotent, spiritually imbecile? You have brought the weapon to destroy yourself, being a believer marrying an unbeliever.”
Eucharia Anunobi warns Christians not only against interfaith marriages but also against engaging in premarital intimacy with non-believers.
She argued that such actions lead to what she described as a spiritual and emotional “Waterloo.”
“Those kisses, those hugs, those caresses with an unbeliever. There will be a Waterloo,” she warned. “Some of you are already engaging in activities in the other room, and yet you are in ministry.
You think being with an unbeliever will make your marriage sweet? You will be most miserable.”
