She said she has spent years trying to heal from past experiences, but continues to encounter similar patterns of disappointment in adulthood.

The Funmi Awelewa emotional struggle was shared in a heartfelt post where the actress expressed frustration over repeatedly meeting the wrong people and struggling to find genuine connections.

According to her, these experiences have contributed to her remaining single, as she continues to battle emotional exhaustion linked to past betrayals.

“For the first time in my life, I’m tired,” she wrote.

“It took me years to heal from betrayal and childhood trauma, yet I keep facing the same issues. Looking back on what I experienced while growing up, I feel lonely and sad.”

She added that she feels overwhelmed by repeated disappointment in relationships and called on God for divine intervention.

“I’m tired of meeting the wrong people… May God fight this battle for me,” she added.
