Hilda Baci issues a legal warning to Seyi Vibez over alleged defamatory posts, demanding their removal, a public apology and retraction
Celebrity Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has issued a legal warning to singer Seyi Vibez over social media posts she says are defamatory, escalating an online dispute linked to the ongoing controversy surrounding music executive Damilola Akinwunmi, popularly known as Dapper.
The warning, issued on Thursday, August 20, 2026, demands that Seyi Vibez remove the disputed publications from his social media accounts and issue a public apology and retraction.
The dispute emerged during a wider online confrontation involving former Dapper Music artistes Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi and T.I Blaze, who have publicly raised allegations concerning royalties and funds linked to their former record label.
Seyi Vibez subsequently directed comments at Baci, who is romantically linked to Dapper. Among the allegations attributed to the singer was a claim that the music executive had spent catalogue money on Baci’s cosmetic surgery.
He also made a separate claim concerning food prepared by the celebrity chef.

The letter gives Seyi Vibez three days from receipt to provide a written undertaking that he will stop publishing or communicating what Baci’s lawyers describe as defamatory material concerning their client.
