Iyabo Ojo made the move in a video shared online, where she appeared in training and called on businessman E-Money and music executive Soso Soberekon to sponsor the proposed bout.

The actress asked what amount would be placed on the table, hinting at a structured contest between both sides, already tagged informally as opposing teams.

The development comes amid renewed tension following allegations credited to Lizzy Anjorin, who claimed Iyabo Ojo had a role in the death of an upcoming singer, Destiny Boy.

Reacting during a TikTok live session, Iyabo Ojo urged her supporters to leave Lizzy Anjorin alone, stating that the actress needs help and medical attention.

Iyabo Ojo described a noticeable change in her colleague’s behaviour and questioned when the shift began.

Iyabo Ojo also faulted Lizzy Anjorin’s husband for allegedly failing to seek appropriate care, a remark that has stirred further reactions.

Iyabo Ojo’s partner, Paulo Okoye, had earlier supported the idea of a boxing match and promised a ₦10 million reward for the eventual winner.

The rivalry between the two actresses has stretched over two years, marked by repeated exchanges, personal claims, and legal disputes.

In one instance, Iyabo Ojo shared a video mocking Lizzy Anjorin, prompting a response that included personal allegations.

That exchange later led to threats of legal action and demands for damages.

A Lagos court, however, dismissed a ₦1 billion defamation suit filed in 2024, with the presiding judge advising both parties to end the conflict and embrace peace.

Despite that intervention, tensions have persisted, with Iyabo Ojo at one point raising concerns about her safety and that of her children.
