LASUSTECH launches Lagos State indigene verification to screen eligible students for the 2025/2026 admission, ensuring fair access and identity validation

The SOVE programme is compulsory for all Lagos indigenes who selected LASUSTECH as their first choice in the recent JAMB screening. It ensures that qualified local candidates are properly screened before admission forms are released.

The cut-off mark for this academic session is 195. Candidates who score this or higher can proceed with the SOVE registration, which ends on 18 July 2025. Interviews will begin on 22 July and are expected to last two weeks.

SOVE interviews will take place in the 500-seater hall beside the College of Agriculture on the LASUSTECH campus. Each candidate will receive a specific date and time for their session, as indicated on their SOVE Data Form.

Candidates will face interview panels based on their divisions: Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Island, Eti-Osa, and Epe. Required documents include birth certificates, JAMB and O-Level results, passport photographs, SOVE payment proof, and letters from both the local government chairman and a traditional ruler.

A part of the interview will involve questions about the candidate’s hometown or village to establish authenticity.

Successful candidates will receive an acknowledgment slip signed by the SOVC Chairman and the permanent secretary, confirming their verification.
