Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has called out her colleague, Eniola Badmus, accusing her of making suggestive facial expressions while speaking about her during a podcast interview.

Bakare voiced her displeasure in a post on her Instagram page, where she described Badmus as a “nuisance” and accused her of repeatedly trying to damage her reputation publicly.

The actress claimed she had warned Badmus several times to stop what she described as an attempt to undermine her character.

According to Bakare, she decided to respond after allegedly concluding that her colleague was determined to bring her down.

“Nuisance ni lady yi sha! Must you always damage my character publicly? Several times I have warned you to stop,” she wrote.

Bakare further accused Badmus of displaying questionable facial expressions whenever her name was mentioned during the interview.

She also claimed that she had previously helped Badmus “grow in life”, suggesting that she felt particularly disappointed by the alleged comments and behaviour.

“See your facial expressions at the mention of your biggest Benefactor name? Omo Ale @laide.bakarehub that helped you to grow in life. Honestly you are indeed an ingrate and I won’t let this slide,” she added.

The actress went on to say that she would not allow what she described as another person’s insecurity to distract her from her personal journey.

“I will never allow someone else’s insecurity to become my distraction. I know my journey, I know my worth, and I know how much it has taken me to get here,” Bakare said.

Bakare also stated that she would not forgive Badmus over the alleged conduct, while warning that the matter would not simply be ignored.
