Nigerian comedian MC Fish has accused his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Anita Joseph, of frustrating the completion of their separation process, alleging that she is withholding a Certified True Copy (CTC) document required to move forward.

MC Fish made the claim on Thursday, July 23, 2026, through his Instagram Story, where he expressed frustration over what he described as delays in finalising the process.

The comedian alleged that Anita Joseph was preventing him from obtaining the document despite claiming that their relationship had ended.

“U cannot keep calling God’s name and be doing evil behind closed doors. The same God will be the one to embarrass you. You claim to be over and done but yet you frustrate the process for me to erase u completely on my life. Stop hiding the CTC and let me get my freedom,” he wrote.

MC Fish also shared screenshots of messages from individuals criticising Anita Joseph, although there has been no independent confirmation of the allegations made against the actress.

The public exchange has generated mixed reactions from social media users, with some encouraging both parties to handle the matter privately or through appropriate legal channels.
