MrBeast defends his controversial fire stunt video, insisting all safety protocols were followed and the featured participant was a trained professional.

MrBeast, real name James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson, has responded to criticism surrounding his latest viral stunt video, in which a man escapes a burning building while carrying bags of cash.

The video, which quickly gained millions of views, drew backlash from fans and viewers who expressed concern over the safety of the participants involved.

Many described the stunt as “reckless” and questioned the decision to broadcast such content.

In response, MrBeast took to social media to clarify that extensive safety precautions were in place before filming.

He emphasised that the individual featured was not a random participant but a trained professional stuntman, and that multiple safety systems were implemented on set.

“I take safety more seriously than you could ever imagine,” MrBeast wrote. “We had ventilation for the smoke and a kill switch to cut off the fires.

These were thoroughly tested, and none were needed in the end. Our stunt coordinator did an amazing job, as always.”

The YouTuber, who is known for his large-scale challenges and philanthropic videos, reiterated his commitment to transparency and thanked his fans for raising valid concerns.

He noted that while the scene was intense, it was carried out under professional supervision.

This isn’t the first time MrBeast’s content has stirred conversation online. With over 200 million subscribers, his increasingly ambitious videos continue to push creative boundaries, though not without drawing scrutiny from safety advocates and viewers.
