Phyna slams Dangote Group over what she describes as a shocking betrayal of trust, after the company allegedly backtracked on its promise to fly her critically injured sister abroad for treatment.

The ex-BBNaija winner, whose sister was left unconscious after being struck by a Dangote truck, shared a lengthy and emotional update on social media, alleging that the Dangote Group is reneging on their promise to sponsor her sister’s overseas medical care.
Phyna revealed that the initial understanding was to have her sister stabilized at Lagoon Hospital in Lagos, pending travel arrangements for more advanced care abroad.
“We had an agreement that she would be flown out. Now they’re asking me to get a report saying Lagoon can’t treat her. That was never the plan,” she said in a frustrated voice note.
She added that her sister’s condition is critical, with multiple life-threatening injuries including fluid in the lungs, a crushed reproductive system, and a ruptured bladder.
“If Dangote’s own child were in this condition, would they wait for a hospital to declare they can’t treat her before flying her out?” she asked, visibly distressed.
According to Phyna, there had been ongoing communication between her and the Dangote Group, with her regularly providing medical updates.

She emphasized that she is not looking to make trouble, but simply wants the agreement fulfilled.
