Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has sparked reactions online after mocking socialite and businessman Cubana Chief Priest following his loss in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East federal constituency seat.

APC aspirant, Cubana Chief Priest, contested for a seat in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections but lost to incumbent lawmaker Canice Moore Nwachukwu, who secured the party ticket for a second term.

In a video circulating on social media, Portable ridiculed the outcome, claiming the socialite received minimal support despite defecting to the ruling party.

Portable Slams Cubana Chief Priest regards election outcome quickly gained traction online after the singer joked that he would have attracted “billions of votes” if he were in the same position.

“If APC, Tinubu or PDP gives me money, I’ll collect it. Cubana Chief Priest, see your yeye; you ran to APC and you only got four votes in your village,” he said in the viral clip.

The singer’s remarks have since sparked mixed reactions across social media, with some users criticising his comments as disrespectful, while others described them as typical of his controversial public persona.
