Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has sparked fresh controversy after challenging Afrobeats superstar Davido to a celebrity boxing match, claiming he would defeat him in the ring.

Portable Davido boxing challenge emerged in a viral video where the controversial artiste called for a high-profile bout with a ₦1 billion prize tag, insisting he is confident in his fighting ability.

Portable described himself as a “world champion” and urged organisers to set up the match, saying he is ready to face Davido in a regulated celebrity boxing event.

“The way Davido is training, I want him to come and fight me as the world champion that I am. They should organise a celebrity boxing match with a ₦1 billion prize tag,” he said.

The singer’s latest challenge comes amid his growing involvement in celebrity boxing exhibitions, where he has recorded victories over entertainers such as Speed Darlington and Charles Okocha.
