Priscilla Ojo breaks silence after fire at Iyabo Ojo’s office, revealing a threat letter was sent weeks earlier in attempt to ruin her wedding and harm her mum
Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, daughter of popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has spoken out following the mysterious fire that destroyed her mother’s office in Lagos on July 8, 2025.
In a post shared to her Instagram story, Priscilla alleged that the fire was not an accident but part of a calculated effort to harm her family.
She linked the incident to a threatening letter delivered to her mother’s office just days before her wedding.
“Sadly, on the 24th of May, this letter was delivered to my mother’s office,” she wrote, including an image of the handwritten note.
“It was clearly a threat to her life and an attempt to ruin JP2025.”
According to Priscilla, her mother did not see the letter immediately because she was travelling to Tanzania for the wedding at the time.
Upon her return, the disturbing contents of the message came to light.
The letter, signed by a group calling itself “Aggrieved Group,” threatened to destroy Priscilla’s marriage and warned that her family would face consequences.
The note read in part, “We’ll all be there on the wedding day. Just wait and see.”
No amount of threats or criminal acts will silence my mother. God is greater than any evil, and in time, the truth will prevail.
Following the incident, Priscilla confirmed that CCTV footage is being reviewed to trace the person who delivered the letter.
She also noted that additional surveillance systems have been installed at both home and office locations.
“We will eventually identify the person and present the evidence to the police at the appropriate time,” she stated.
She described the fire as a possible “Plan B” after the attempt to derail her wedding failed. Calling the entire situation “deeply concerning,” she urged a full investigation.
In a powerful declaration of strength, Priscilla added, “No amount of threats or criminal acts will silence my mother. God is greater than any evil, and in time, the truth will prevail.”
Iyabo Ojo had earlier confirmed the incident on her Instagram page, thanking the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for their swift response in preventing loss of life and limiting the damage.
Security around the family’s properties has since been significantly increased.
Priscilla concluded her message with resilience and faith: “We remain strong, hopeful, and prayerful. Justice will prevail.”
