Nigerian singer Runtown has postponed the release of his new album *Soundgod Fest IV* to June 27, promising fans a more refined and satisfying project

The artist, whose real name is Douglas Jack Agu, made the announcement via his Instagram handle, citing a desire to deliver a more refined project to his fans.

“Moved the drop to the 27th of June to make sure it’s absolutely fire for you guys! Meanwhile, hit the pre save link in bio. #SoundgodFestIV,” he posted.

Soundgod Fest IV marks Runtown’s first major project since his 2022 release and is expected to underscore his evolution in both sound and lyrical depth.

Ahead of the full album, he released two singles, Flow and Do Me, which have already stirred excitement among fans and industry observers.

The album’s delay comes amid Runtown’s efforts to re-establish his presence on the Nigerian music scene after a relatively quiet period.

Despite past controversies, including label disputes, the Mad Over You hitmaker remains a key figure in Afrobeats and is known for his blend of rhythm, melody, and sonic experimentation.
