Senator Mudashiru Husain Mourns Yilwatda’s Mother’s Passing

Senator Mudashiru Husain offers condolences to APC Chairman Prof. Yilwatda over his mother’s death, praising her legacy of dignity and service

Senator Mudashiru Husain has extended his heartfelt condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, following the death of his mother, Madam Lydia Yilwatda.

The Osun State APC gubernatorial hopeful described the passing of the late octogenarian as a great loss, not only to the Yilwatda family but to everyone whose lives were touched by her values of dignity, sacrifice, and community service.

In a solemn message, the former Osun West Senator and ex-NPC Federal Commissioner remarked that while the death leaves a painful gap, the life Mama Lydia lived remains a comforting legacy for generations to come.

“On behalf of myself, my family, and the Irọrun De political family, I condole with our National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on this irreparable loss,” Senator Husain said.

He praised the late matriarch’s role in nurturing a family known for integrity, excellence, and leadership. He added that her impact will continue to resonate across generations.

Senator Husain also prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and asked God to grant strength and comfort to Prof.
