Simi condemns Comfort Emmanson video leak, calling for the person responsible for sharing the unedited footage to be held accountable.

The Nigerian singer, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, took to Instagram Stories to question why the video of the Ibom Air passenger’s altercation was posted without blurring or editing out indecent exposure.

In her post, Simi described the act as a serious invasion of privacy. She argued that while the incident itself sparked public outrage, the decision to broadcast Emmanson’s nudity to millions online was equally wrong and deserved legal repercussions.

“Someone recorded her being dragged off the plane. Recorded her being exposed like that, and then posted it without editing out this exposure or blurring it out,” Simi wrote.

“Voluntarily posting her half-naked for millions of people to see when less than 10 people actually witnessed it in the first place deserves punishment too. Because you cannot condemn one madness and leave another one.”

Her comments come amid ongoing debates about the handling of Emmanson’s case, her lifetime ban from Ibom Air, and the Nigerian Bar Association’s condemnation of the incident.
