Spider-Man: Brand New Day has grossed N2.3 billion in West Africa and held number one for eight weekends, FilmOne Entertainment says

FilmOne Entertainment said on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has taken N2.3 billion at the West African box office and is now the highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time in the region.

The distributor said the title has held the number one spot for eight consecutive weekends.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day maintains its stand as the highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time, holding the number one spot for eight consecutive weekends, grossing N2.3 billion,” FilmOne wrote. The company thanked audiences across West Africa for the run.

The figure is FilmOne’s regional tally, not a worldwide total. Eight weekends at the top points to unusually long demand for a comic-book sequel in the territory.
