Super Eagles donate to Super Falcons in a heartwarming show of unity and support, as six players from Nigeria’s men’s national team gifted N24 million to the women’s team for their triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The donors include team captain William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Leon Balogun, and Joe Aribo.

The Super Falcons made headlines on Saturday night with a dramatic comeback win, overturning a two-goal deficit to defeat host nation Morocco and claim a record-extending 10th WAFCON title.

Led by head coach Justine Madugu, the team returned to Nigeria on Monday and was met with widespread praise.

In addition to the players’ contribution, the Falcons have also received monetary gifts from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and members of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum.
