Nollywood star Timini Egbuson has finally addressed persistent rumours painting him as a womaniser. According to the actor, the label is far from the truth.

Speaking on The Culture League podcast, Timini revealed that he has been single for two years and barely has time to date, let alone juggle multiple women.
He blamed his busy schedule for his lack of romantic activity, stating that the demands of Nollywood leave little room for relationships.
“A lot of people assume that I’m a womaniser. But I’m not. In the past two, three years, Nollywood has taken over my life in a way that there’s no room,” he said.
“Except you will be the most unserious to womanise. I even wonder how some of my friends who womanise, date four or five girls simultaneously, have time to attend to all of them.”

Timini explained that filming all day and returning home late leaves him too exhausted to even chat.
“From being on set all day to getting back tired at 11 pm, I will now start chatting a lady? I don’t have the capacity for that,” he added.
Despite the public assumptions, the actor says he isn’t offended. In fact, he sees value in the image people have of him.
“I’m not in the street as people may think I am,” he noted.

“But the ‘Bad boy’ thing actually works for my brand, so I let people think what they want.”
