The former Nigerian singer turned blogger publicly taunted the music superstar over not owning a private jet, stirring controversy and fan debates.

The drama started when a fan asked Tunde Ednut about his plans to buy a private jet like his friend Davido.

In response, Tunde cheekily said, “After Wizkid, by God’s grace,” implying he would only make such a purchase once Wizkid did the same.

This bold comment quickly captured public attention and set off a flurry of reactions across social media platforms.

This is not the first time Tunde Ednut has clashed with Wizkid. Back in 2021, Tunde referred to Wizkid as his younger brother while praising his performance, a move that drew criticism from fans who viewed it as condescending.

Their rivalry also extends to previous exchanges involving Davido, where Wizkid insinuated Tunde needed deliverance and highlighted his stance against insulting disabled individuals.

The jet controversy comes on the heels of Davido celebrating his father’s purchase of a third private jet, following Davido’s own acquisition of a $75 million private jet and a recent extravagant wedding in Miami.

Netizens wasted no time weighing in. While some felt Tunde was stirring unnecessary trouble, others anticipated a fiery comeback from Wizkid.

Comments ranged from playful jabs to sharp critiques, with one fan noting, “Wizzy lives rent free for una head cos wetin bring him name to this conversation.”
