Woli Arole Issues Firm DM Warning Over Rude Greetings

Woli Arole DM warning has gone viral as the popular Nigerian comedian-turned-preacher issued a stern public statement urging people to stop messaging him with a simple “Hi”.

Posting on his Instagram page, Arole criticised the trend of sending direct messages without proper greetings, calling it “rude and not polite”. He announced that he will no longer respond to such messages, regardless of the sender’s intentions.

“Please, this information is for those people who message me either to show me their services or you need me for something,” he wrote. “Please, don’t enter my DM or email with ‘Hi Arole.’ I find it rude and not polite. I will not reply you.”

The outspoken entertainer, who has reinvented himself as a preacher in recent years, advised that people begin their messages with respectful phrases like “Good morning” or “Good afternoon”, stressing that courtesy still matters in digital communication.

Woli Arole DM warning has since triggered mixed reactions online. While some applauded him for setting boundaries and promoting etiquette, others argued that the platform of social media naturally invites casual conversation.

This is not the first time Arole has stirred conversation with his firm views on conduct and morality.
