Famakin purchased the ₦160,000 fragrance, “Ian Deux Pomelle,” and shared a video review. While he praised the scent, he criticized the packaging quality and price, giving the perfume an overall score of 5 out of 10, arguing that customers expect flawless presentation at such a high price.

Reacting to the review, Yhemo Lee accused Famakin of bitterness, suggesting that the critic’s negative comments were motivated by a previously declined promotional offer.

He revealed that Famakin had charged ₦6 million for a promotional review during the launch, which Thayour B.’s team turned down.

“We no really send you for here. She has sold out that perfume twice with over 1,000 bottles sold. That particular Pomelle you kept degrading is currently her best seller. Why don’t you tell everyone the reason why your fat [expletive] is bitter?”

Yhemo Lee further criticized Famakin for purchasing the perfume after seeing its success and then posting a negative review.

He maintained that his response was necessary because Famakin had mentioned Yhemo Lee in the review, which he considered misleading.

The exchange drew attention online, with fans mostly siding with Yhemo Lee:

@bemigho66: “Wow this hits differently. All I see is bitterness. Yes, bitter he wasn’t given that deal of 6M, that’s all I see.”
@1randyx: “I too like Yhemo Lee, the guy too real. That Opeyemi na fat fool indeed.”
