Davido Best International Act award win as Afrobeats star beats Gunna, Rema and Tyla at 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards in Washington D.C.
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has won the Best International Act at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards, defeating global artistes including Gunna, Rema and Tyla at the prestigious ceremony held in the United States.
The event took place on April 25 at the Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D.C., bringing together a diverse audience to celebrate achievements across music, film, fashion, sports and community service.
Davido’s recognition was announced on Monday by ChartsAfrica on X, confirming his victory in a competitive category that featured some of the biggest names in global music.
“Davido has emerged victorious at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards, clinching the prestigious award for Best International Act,” the platform wrote.
The win adds another significant honour to Davido’s growing list of international accolades, further strengthening his global profile at a time when Afrobeats continues its rapid expansion across international markets.
