Veteran Nollywood actors Patience Ozokwo and Nkem Owoh thrilled fans in Lagos on Friday after a lively video from a movie set showed the celebrated entertainers dancing energetically to traditional Ogene music.

Patience Ozokwo, widely known as Mama G, and Nkem Owoh, popularly called Osuofia, appeared in high spirits as they displayed impressive dance moves during a special welcome organised by filmmaker Eli Dvic for the cast and crew.

Sharing the moment online, Patience Ozokwo said the director invited a live band to honour the veteran actors on set. The actress expressed gratitude for her health and continued ability to perform despite decades in the entertainment industry.

“Veterans for a reason. Thankful that we can still dance. How @elidvicmovies_ welcomed us on set,” Patience Ozokwo wrote.

The heartwarming clip quickly attracted reactions from colleagues and fans across the entertainment industry, with many praising the iconic pair for their enduring energy and charisma.

Actress Chioma Akpotha declared her affection for the stars, while actor Zubby Michael reacted playfully in the comments section.

Omoni Oboli described the duo simply as “Veterans”, as several other actors, including Mike Godson, Jemima Osunde and Frederick Leonard, responded with love emojis.

Fans also celebrated the pair’s spirited appearance, with one admirer describing the actors as “Legends”.

Patience Ozokwo Nkem Owoh dance moment arrives amid continued recognition for the actress’ long-running contribution to Nollywood.

Earlier this year, fellow veteran actor Kanayo Kanayo shared photographs featuring Patience Ozokwo and Pete Edochie while reflecting on wisdom, sacrifice and resilience in the film industry.

A few months ago, Patience Ozokwo received a Hall of Fame honour at the Reffa Awards in Ghana, where the actress said she felt deeply grateful to be celebrated during her lifetime.
