The fan, Odum Ifeoluwa, had shared her intricate tapestry of the Grammy-winning singer on X (formerly Twitter), revealing it was her first attempt at tapestry.

With 8,925 stitches, the black and white piece was posted alongside a heartfelt message to mark one year since she started crocheting. Hoping Tems would notice, she wrote, “I hope @temsbaby gets to see this… I love you Tems.”

Social media users were quick to amplify the artwork, applauding its detail and originality. The portrait soon caught the attention of Tems, who responded with amazement. “Yo this is unbelievable. You are incredible! I NEED IT RIGHT NOWWW. Can I buy it please?” the singer wrote.

Shortly after, it emerged that Tems had transferred ₦3 million to the young artist in appreciation, a gesture that sent waves of excitement across social platforms.

“OMG this has to be the best day of my life,” the overwhelmed fan responded. She went on to thank Tems, her friend Yvonne Onyanta, and the Rebel Gang community, expressing deep appreciation for the recognition and support.

The act of generosity drew wide praise online, with many celebrating Tems for encouraging talent and for lifting a small-scale business through kindness rather than silence.
