Timini Egbuson mourns the passing of his father, sharing the news on Instagram and receiving condolences from Nollywood colleagues and fans

Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has announced the passing of his father, sharing the news on Sunday via his official Instagram page alongside photos of his late parent.

Mr Egbuson, brother to actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, wrote, “Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this… Rest in peace Dad. So much left unsaid, but I’ll keep making you proud.”

The announcement has drawn an outpouring of condolences from colleagues, fans, and friends across the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Actress Funke Akindele commented, “May Daddy’s soul rest in peace,” while actor Uzee Usman wrote, “So sorry for your loss… may his gentle soul rest in peace.”

Other celebrities, including Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, Gabriel Afolayan, Mercy Aigbe, and Mike Afolarin, also expressed sympathy and prayers for the repose of the departed soul.
